- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the western parts of the ZF Mgcawa and Namakwa Districts in the Northern Cape and the West Coast District in the Western Cape
ADVISORIES:
- Extremely hot conditions are expected over the West Coast District in the Western Cape and Kamiesberg Municipality in the Northern Cape.
- A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in Richersveld, Nama Khoi and Kamiesberg Municipalities in the Northern Cape and northern parts of West Coast District in the Western Cape until Thursday (13-15/04/2021).
Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and warm but hot in the north.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and warm.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Fine and hot to very hot, but extremely hot in places over the western interior. It will become partly cloudy over the southern interior in the late afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy with fog in the morning and the evening along the south-coast where it will be cool to warm, otherwise fine and hot to very hot but extremely hot along the West-Coast district.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly along the south coast, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, reaching strong in the south-west in the evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Partly cloudy, but fine and warm with morning and evening fog over the southeast and along the coast between Storms River and Port Alfred.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming light north-easterly in the evening.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms in the north-east during the afternoon, otherwise fine and warm with morning and evening fog in the south.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming light and variable in the evening.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places. It will become partly cloudy in the east by late afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly becoming southerly to south-westerly from the south in the afternoon, spreading to Richard’s Bay by afternoon.
