FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:

  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Karoo Hoogland municipality, southern parts of the Northern Cape and Beaufort West municipality of the Western Cape.

ADVISORIES:

  1. Nil

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Early morning fog patches on the Highveld, otherwise fine and cool but partly cloudy in the Lowveld and the escarpment areas.
It will be warm in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy over the eastern and central parts at first with early morning fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm on the Lowveld.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cool.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and cool.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm but cool on the southern high ground.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming cloudy over the south-western parts from the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-westerly, becoming westerly to south-westerly along the south coast in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Temperature: Fine and warm.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly.

The Eastern half – Temperature: Fine and cool but warm south of the escarpment.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light northerly, becoming north-easterly towards the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the north-east with morning fog over the northern interior, otherwise fine and cool but warm in the east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming fresh towards midday.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
