Chris Mahlangu, the guy who was found guilty last month of killing AWB big boss Terre’Blanche in his farmhouse in April 2010 now claims he is HIV positive and believes he was infected by the Boere Omie himself.
The clinical psychologist Henk Swanepoel , who testified in court about Mahlangu said Mahlangu told him that he killed Terre’Blanche in self-defence after Terre’Blanche allegedly lured him into his bedroom, grabbed him by the neck, ripped off his pants and raped him. He also told his wife he had been raped at gunpoint.
Swanepoel said Mahlangu, who worked for Terre’Blanche, was orphaned at the age of 9, had no education and was paid by the AWB leader in cigarettes and alcohol.
But state prosecutor George Baloyi said forensic evidence suggested Terre’Blanche was attacked in his sleep. He said Mahlangu was lying.
