Sources within both the DA and EFF says the parties is close to an agreement to form coalition local governments wherever it is necessary. EFF sources said they did talk to the ANC for a couple of days but it seems they could not find common ground. They will now assist the DA to from a united opposition.
Pretoria Live quotes Floyd Shivambu, deputy EFF leader as saying all is set although we had to compromise to constitute the final agreement to govern side by side with the DA”. On ditching the ANC Shivambu said that “the ANC days were numbered because the electorate is angry”.
While the EFF have been in talks with the ANC, sources from within the EFF says that “they must not be fooled by the ANC sudden desire to engage them because once a blesser always a blesser”.
Anyqlists say the DA and EFF find common ground in their desire to fight corruption such as Nkandla-gate and the activities of Zuma’s cronies. Tax money should be put to better use, with parties agrees.
