Now that’s good news. Let’s hope he never oversees a Test ever again or put his dirty little feet on African soil again. If we can believe newspaper reports Lyndon Bray, the head of SANZAR’s Referee’s panel said Lawrence has not been selected in the Test panel. “There’s a decision that we as selectors in the IRB made back in March. His time is over at that level. At this stage he is clearly not on the team,” Bray is reported to have said.
In our mind this means his Test career is over and how happy can we be… Very!
Can you remember how he screwed us over during last year’s world cup when he tried harder than even the Aussies to secure an Aussie win over the Sprongboks during the World Cup Semi Final.
Even since that math he hasn’t exactly made any good impressionsduring this year’s Super 15 Rugby tournament. Crusaders coach, Todd Blackadder sighted the poor chap for botched calls during a match between The Crusaders and The Hurricanes. So we are not the only guys complaining.
We say GOOD RIDDANCE!
