eNews says in a statement a move like this will earn them access to over 10 million homes in the UK and, off course, expats.
The eNews boss of news Patrick Conroy says the most significant thing is that they will get access to the South African expatriate community. “If they want news from home it’s just a click away.”
The 24-hour news service would be launched in the next few weeks through the SKY digital satellite platform. It would also soon unveil a “new look”. “Due to our expansion, we will have to rebrand our service to make it relevant to viewers abroad and here at home,” Conroy says.
The channel is doing tests on the signal to the UK at the moment but expect to have things running smoothly soon.
