VENUE
========
The Coronet Theatre opened its doors over 100 years ago and to this day has managed to retain all of it’s art deco features. Originally conceived as a public hall, it appeared as Theatre Royal in 1872 but a fire in 1878 lead to renovations. One year later The Elephant and Castle Theatre opened it’s doors to the public and a very young Charlie Chaplin soon graced the stage. Nowadays the Coronet Theatre plays host to some of London’s most iconic concerts and is the perfect setting for the Sounds Of Africa concert holding a capacity of over 3000 people.

In the space of two short years, he has streaked into the top of the radio charts and into the hearts of all South African music fans.
