So in recent days there was the “London Riots”. One youth was tragically killed and before everyone knew it was a completely lawless country where it has proven that the police was unprepared and vastly outnumbered. Shops closed all over the city and everything just about came to a standstill.
Two days ago the news reported on a possible strike by the fuel tanker drivers and, although no date was set, the Cabinet minister Francis Maude suggested people fill up their cars and any petrol cans they have just in case. The result was absolute chaos. Petrol shortages all over the country, queues hundreds of meters long at almost every station and even inside the shops, empty shelves as the delivery trucks cannot get in to deliver stock.
Don’t get me wrong, the UK is not the only country with this problem. They might be ill prepared for riots and snow but in so many ways they are way ahead of most countries. Just look at Economic Recession caused by the banks and the governments are not holding the banks accountable. People are paying the price and it is possible that this could trigger the next big event or possibly a global one.
So what if something just a tiny bit bigger go wrong?
So what if people decide that is it, we are going to strike for a week or a month?
So what if the minority loose control over the majority?
Governments vs Public Opinion… how far are we from the collapse of society as we know it?
