Malema seeks divine intervention

Shame. This guy needs all the blessings he can get. So let's forgive old Juju if he's run off to some controversial prophet in Nigeria to find out where he is supposed to be going in life.

Malema seeks divine intervention

eNCA reports EFF leader Julius Malema is in Nigeria, visiting popular preacher and prophet TB Joshua. Yes, the same one so many people go to to get healed when they have been diagnosed with a life threatening disease. Two things normally happen in these cases: the poor people pay loads of money to see him; and in most cases they end up dying in any case. Both Joshua and his pastors claim they can heal incurable illnesses such asHIV/AIDS and cancer.

eNCA says Malema and an EFF delegation are visiting the preacher to receive blessings for the journey ahead. “We all seek divine intervention, we all seek blessings of spiritual leaders, and it happened that this time we came to TB Joshua… and it shouldn’t be seen to be any controversial activities,” he told the news channel.

Malema also congratulated the people of Zimbabwe on their recent election and said he had the desire to be like President Bob Mugabe. “They have made their wishes very clear and we want to congratulate President Mugabe because we are happy that he has returned the land to the people and Zimbabwe will be one of the fewest African countrieswhich is truly owned by Africans,” he said.

The Economic Freedom Fighters announced the visit on their Facebook page, saying Malema and fellow leaders would go on a “spiritual visit to meet and create friendship with this son of Africa and his congregation and ask for blessings for the journey ahead”.

A notable visitor to Joshua has been Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. Do we sense a pattern here?
