A VW sedan skipped a stop sign and the road rage incident unfolded after a Isuzu Bakkie pursued the driver and the VW.
Both vehicles stopped in the middle of the road. The VW driver was sitting in the car with his two children and during the confrontation he pulled out a gun and shot the Isuzu driver in the face.
He was arrested and would appear in the Kempton Mark Magistrate’s Court.
From ENCA:
“It’s believed the driver of the VW was driving his two young daughters to school when the incident happened.
Community newspaper, the Kempton Express, reported that the driver of the sedan skipped a stop sign and then stopped in the middle of the road.
According to the report, the driver of the bakkie — Boksburg resident Louis Jansen van Rensburg — then tried to overtake the sedan driver, who reportedly simultaneously drove on.
The news website reported that Jansen van Rensburg allegedly stopped behind the sedan a short distance further, got out of his vehicle and slapped the driver of the sedan.
A gunshot was heard, and witnesses reported seeing Jansen van Rensburg fall to the ground. He’d been shot in the face.”
