The N3 Highway between Cedara in KwaZulu-Natal and Harrismith remains closed to traffic and will only be reopened when deemed safe to do so.
Arrive Alive also cautioned road users to stay off the affected road and stay safe.
“Road users are requested to continue to avoid the N3 Toll Route between Cedara and Harrismith. This section of the N3 will only be re-opened upon instruction of the Provincial Joint Operational Centre when it is deemed safe to do so.
“N3TC will immediately issue public notifications when there are any new developments,” Arrive Alive said on their Facebook page on Wednesday.
