News24 reported that Oscar could be free within three months as he is keen to work with Children upon his release.
His 5 year jail sentence will be more like a short leave of absence at this rate. A court found him guilty and sentenced him to 5 years and correct me if I am wrong but by my calculates that is 60 months but hey, that’s the legal system for you.
Rohan Kruger (Oscar’s Lawyer) told the Sunday Times newspaper that Oscar;
- spends 24 hours of his day in an isolation wing reading the bible and praying.
- was “destroyed” and is still “in bits of shock” about Reeva’s death.
- is keen to work with children in “whatever opportunity will present” itself.
