He appeared in court this morning and the prosecutor, Marius Stander, read out the following charges;
- Conspiracy to commit murder
- Kidnapping
- Robbery with aggravated circumstances
- Murder

Dressed all in black, Panayiotou stood before Magistrate Jan van der Westhuizen who postponed his case to June 19. No bail application has been made yet.
Panayiotou is the second suspect arrested in connection with the death of his wife, Riebeek College teacher Jayde Panayiotou, 29. A third suspect was arrested yesterday (03/05/15).
The first suspect arrested, Luthando Siyoli, 31, was allegedly directly involved in Jayde’s abduction.
