Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, died peacefully at Buckingham Palace on Friday, 9 April 2021. He was 99 years old at the time of his passing.
It is alleged that he died from an infection related to his heart. The Prince recently survived a three week stay in hospital where he was being treated for a condition with his heart.

The Royal Family released a statement via Buckingham Palace saying: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”
Condolences are pouring in for the Royal Family. The Duke leaves behind his wife The Queen of England, their four children, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward – eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
