The BBC reports Barry Steenkamp struggled to speak through tears as he described the impact of the killing three years ago. Mr Steenkamp was too unwell to attend the original trial.

Nomsa Maseko tweeted Steenkamp said: “I used to jab myself with a needle after Reeva died to see if I could feel the same amount of pain she felt when she died.
Milton Nkosi Tweeted: “It’s been very difficult for me to forgive but I believe that Oscar has 2 pay for what he did. It’s up to courts. He has to pay for his crime.”
