Senzo Meyiwa was murdered in 2014 at the home of his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo. The police currently have a few suspects that have pleaded guilty to the charges of murder.
The Senzo Meyiwa trial begins
Tuesday marks the second day that police officer Mosia has taken to the stand. In explaining what he knows about the state of the crime scene.
“The crime scene tape was still there my lord. I think the scene was being protected, my lord,”
Thus far, Mosia has shared that he arrived at the crime scene on the 27th of October just 20 minutes after midnight. The Sowetan Live reports that Senzo Meyiwa was killed at approximately 8 pm on October 26th.
About the murder
Currently, Kelly Khumalo has been getting a lot of heat for the murder of her then-boyfriend as people speculate that she has something to do with the matter.
At the time of the murder, Senzo Meyiwa had been visiting his girlfriend and her family at her Vosloorus home. He shared a 7-month-old daughter with her at the time.

Right now, the evidence suggests that there was a struggle in the home before Senzo Meyiwa was eventually murdered. To date, no one has been arrested for his murder.
While the police were on the scene, Sergeant Mosia shared that three women and three men, as well as two minors, were present at the scene. He relayed that all of them were put into one room so that the evidence or the scene was not tampered with.
