Tiger Woods found himself in a life-threatening position after his horrific car accident. He has since been very open about his recovery.
At this time, Tiger Woods is more focused on his recovery than his sport in which he is very popular. He is considered to be one of the best golf players in the world.
On the day of Tiger Woods’ accident, he found himself speeding over the legal limit which as a result caused his horrific car accident.
Woods was in critical condition after being admitted to the hospital but has since been recovering very well. Tiger relayed that he feared his leg would have to be amputated while discussing his injuries.
The 45-year-old was required to have surgery on open fractures to his lower right leg and further injuries to his foot following the accident in February.
Tiger Woods won’t be returning to golf full-time
While Tiger is slowly but surely making a good recovery, he made it clear that he is unable to return to playing golf full-time this time around.
“This time around, I don’t think I’ll have the body to climb Mount Everest and that’s OK. I can still participate in the game of golf. I can still, if my leg gets OK, click off a tournament here or there.”
