Stage 8 load-shedding has been trending on Twitter following Pravin Gordon’s statement about load shedding in the country presently.
Pravin Gordon says the country can go to Stage 8 load shedding
Right now, the country has been very disappointed by Eskom as the company has faced generating failures time and again. When load shedding has been implemented recently, many were not surprised. However, Stage 8 would be.
Thus far, Eskom has failed to keep the country from getting load shedding. This is after the country was promised that we would never have load shedding again.
To date, the country has faced load shedding for the past few months. However, Stage 8 has not happened before. As well as countless times in every month. Right now, the country is facing stage two load shedding.
No state of disaster granted for Eskom
Currently, Eskom has failed to come up with solutions to their current power failures as well as the past power failures. Recently, Pravin Gordon shared that Eskom does not need to be in a state of disaster as Eskom frequently experiences a power failure.
Now, to have the high load shedding will not be ideal for anybody as we would rather not have any electricity at all than have the power cut for several hours a day if not the entire day.

Eskom needs to implement a permanent solution.
Load Shedding is not a solution. It’s like drinking your coffee slower so it will last longer.
