Phil Tomlison shared this video on Facebook of her son questioning a police constable on the side of the road in Durban after he almost ran her son off the road.
The policeman is clearly drunk and sitting with his gun on his lap.
News24 reported that the officer has been identified as a constable posted at the Pinetown police station.
“Police spokesperson Colonel Jay Naicker confirmed that the video had been brought to the attention of top police management and the matter would be investigated.”
This is a new development or “leak” so let’s hope for swift justice so that one more corrupt police officer is taken off the streets.
