Temperature: Morning fog on the Highveld, otherwise fine and cold becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cold to cool with morning fog in places over the Highveld and along the Escarpment.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cold to cool with morning fog in places along the escarpment.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and cold with severe frost expected in the west early morning, except over the north-eastern parts where it will be partly cloudy spreading to the central parts by the afternoon
Free State:
Temperature: Severe frost over the western and central parts at first, otherwise fine and cold, but partly cloudy in the extreme north-eastern parts.
Northern Cape:
East temperature: Widespread frost expected over the interior and eastern parts in the morning, otherwise fine and cold, but very cold over the southern high ground, while cool along the coast. It will be partly cloudy in the north-eastern parts.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh south-easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Fine and cold to cool with morning widespread frost expected over the interior.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly north of Cape Columbine; otherwise moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Fine and cold but very cold over high lying areas north of Graaff-Reinet, where severe frost is expected in the morning.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north-westerly to westerly but light south-westerly from the afternoon.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Fine and cold but very cold over high lying areas north of Queenstown, where severe frost is expected in the morning.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north-westerly, but light south-westerly in the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the extreme north, otherwise fine and cool but cold in the south-west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be gentle north-westerly, becoming moderate north-easterly during the day.
