A giraffe riding a monkey, a laughing snake and posing bears – the 2021 Comedy Wildlife Awards finalists have been announced and they are hilarious.
The annual awards have been a global hit since their inception in 2015, and each year the entries keep growing.
This year, the judges had a tough choice and countless entries to choose from for the shortlist, and now it’s the public’s turn to vote for the winner. The closing date for votes is 12 October.
For the first time since the awards started, the 2021 finalists will be exhibited at The Photography Show NEC, Birmingham in the UK.
The awards began as a photography competition and has grown into a globally renowned event by founders, Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE and Tom Sullam. The photos are viewed by millions of people and the heart of the competition is to bring awareness to wildlife conservation and put a smile on millions of faces worldwide.
Entries are free and it is open to novices and experts. The winners will be announced on 22 October 2021. See all finalists here.
