If you’re a glamper and not a camper, you’re in luck. CapeNature has introduced luxury glamping units at Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve near Swellendam.
Situated only three hours away from Cape Town, the campsite consists of Yellowwood, Red alder, Stinkwood, Sequoia (“Si-koi-ja”) and Boekenhout. Each unit offers convenience and luxury with private ablution facilities and structured tents which are tastefully furnished.
According to CapeNature, each of the glamping units follows their commitment to ‘touching the earth lightly’, with minimal foundations and lightweight construction techniques involving locally produced and sustainable materials.
The tents sleep four people each, with two canvas bedrooms and a fully-fitted, albeit small kitchenette and private ablution facilities.
The goal was to provide different and exciting accommodation products at the reserve, which now range from self-catering cottages, camping and glamping too.
The first guests arrive on 1 November 2021 and bookings for this glamping experience can be made via www.capenature.co.za or on 087 087 8250.
