Black Coffee has made South Africans proud as he touched people from all over the world through his artistry. This is proof of the Grammy he held in his hand on Monday.
Black Coffee gest his first-ever Grammy
The artist was up against big names such as Marshmellow and Illemenium but the South African ultimately reigned supreme in the Best Electronic/ Dance Album.
In his acceptance speech, Coffee noted that he won’t be able to name everyone who helped him with his album Subconsciously. He also noted that the Grammy Award is for all the kids who come from where he comes from.
“I want to thank my fans all over the world and people who follow what I do, thank you so much for believing in me. I want to thank my family and my children.” Black Coffee
Achievements thus far
Alongside the DJ was his eldest son Esona who supported the same matching suit as his father. He is the eldest out of six children that the DJ has.
As reported by News24, Black Coffee has traveled across the world and received a myriad of awards in his lifetime. One of which has been a BET Award.

Among those congratulating the DJ is social media personality Laziswe. He shared an image of the artist with his award and was no doubt proud of his achievement.
On the other hand, Black Coffee took to Twitter and shared an image of himself holding his Grammy, captioning it “Grammy Award-winning artist”
