House of Gucci takes us through the real-life events of the owners of Gucci. The true-crime film features Lady Gaga as the wife of Maurizio Gucci, with Maurizio Gucci played by Adam Driver. Together the pair brings to the screens what we didn’t get to see.
About House of Gucci
The plot of the film surrounds the former head of Gucci and his wife as well as the assassination of Maurizio Gucci. It would later then be found that Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga) hired a hitman to kill her husband. The film also includes the conviction of Patrizia who was found guilty on the latter.
According to Billboard, Lady Gaga recently admitted that she always wanted to act more than she wanted to sing. Since her debut into acting in the movie A Star Is Born, Gaga has shown us that there is more to her than a bad romance and so far so good.
Where to watch the film
Right now, House of Gucci is readily available to stream anywhere on Prime Video, Vudu, and Apple TV. The film will be available for download and enjoyed whenever you feel like unwinding. On the other hand, Blu-ray and DVD copies will only be available in late February. These hard copies will feature behind-the-scenes moments on House of Gucci as well as the director, Ridley Scott’s take on the film.

Thus far, Gaga has landed a nomination for best actress in House of Gucci at the SAG Awards. Something tells me that this is not the last time we’ll see Lady Gaga on screen. The Screen Actors Guild Awards will take place later in February with the dates in South Africa yet to be announced.
Now, nothing is better than watching a film inspired by real-life events. According to The Cut, the film details the smallest aspects, such as the time Maurizio and Patrizia met. In a statement once made by Patrizia, she once relayed that she would rather cry in a Rolls Royce than be happy on a bicycle. These words alone say that you’re in for a treat!
Right now, Patrizia Reggiani seems like a character worth 2 hours of watching. So, get your popcorn ready for some real entertainment!
