Advocate Teffo was arrested on Thursday and it rattled many. The police officers bombarded the lawyer while many journalists were present.

Advocate Teffo was arrested for unknown matters

Presently, Advocate Teffo was reportedly arrested due to failure to appear in court before. So far, the matter is entirely unrelated to the Senzo Meyiwa trial.

Upon his arrest, Advocate Teffo stated that officer Bheki Cele was behind his arrest. This comes after he mentioned that high-profile individuals and politicians are keeping the murderer of murderers safe.

Bheki Cele allegedly had no part in Teffo’s arrest

According to Times Live, Bheki Cele denied having anything to do with the arrest. After that, the spokesperson for Cele informed him about the arrest. So far, we don’t what the arrest was for.

“I received a message that the accusation is that the arrest is pushed by the Minister Bheki Cele and others. Then I immediately … (contacted) the national commissioner to get a full report of what happened and I wait for that report,”

At the moment, Advocate Cele is representing four of the five men that are on trial for the murder of the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
