Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez announced that they were expecting twins in October 2021. On Easter Monday, Cristiano shared that one of his twins had passed on during birth.

While their baby boy didn’t survive, their baby girl made it through birth. Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina are grateful for this and shared that their little baby girl gives them hope and a reason to carry on.
‘Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.’
Messages of support make their rounds
In an open letter to Cristiano Ronaldo, his sister Aveiro shared some heartfelt words to her brother in his time of need.
‘Our angel is already on daddy’s lap. And our little girl is there firm and strong and full of health and is going to show us with every day that only love matters.’
In reference to the letter, Aveiro relayed that their late baby boy is sitting on daddy’s lap which refers to their late father who died at 52.

According to Daily Mail, their father battled alcoholism and sadly succumbed to it at the age of 52. At the time, Cristiano Ronaldo was just 20-years-old.
