Dj Fresh and Euphonic allegedly raped a woman ten years ago during a night out. The case was dismissed due to a lack of evidence in the case.

The victim, who will remain unnamed, found it difficult to speak about the matter on social media. She opened up about what took place and relayed that she was made out to be a sex worker.

Dj Fresh and Euphonic allegedly drugged the victim

She revealed that a policeman had come to the station and claimed that she had hired him which is not the case according to her. The police officer proceeded to make her look like a sex worker and this is the reason for her case being dismissed.

Presently, the case has been reopened in January of 2022 and was previously dismissed in 2021. The reasons for this are not yet known. As reported by IOL, the victim’s lawyer has confirmed to the City Press that the case has been reopened.

“We’ve been very consistent. We’ve also taken up this dispute with the public protector. We suspect that because the public protector is going to ask questions, the police have decided to say they’re reopening the case. However, they still haven’t responded to us.”

According to Dj Fresh, these claims are entirely false, and wish the victim well in her case against him. As previously reported, the case was not thoroughly investigated before being thrown out.
