Mugabe Ambushed by the Media in Nigeria LEKKER?

“Don’t you think it’s time to step down? We would also like to see a democracy in Zimbabwe,” are a few of the questions and statements Zimbabwe’s 91-year-old president Robert Mugabe were bombarded with when attending the inauguration ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, Nigeria.

Mugabe Ambushed

The Zim dictator seems rather asleep as a reporter from African TV channel Sahara TV confronts Uncle Bob and says: “How’s your health?” She also wants to know: “When will there be change in Zimbabwe?”

The female reporter seems to upset Mugabe’s security detail who later tells the TV crew their questions are embarrassing.

The interlude starts when Mugabe arrives in his car to the Eagle Square venue of the inauguration event. He is hen hurried away to take a seat at the event but the persistent TV crew encounter Mugabe again as he makes his way to leave and this time they are rather relentless.

They then pound to ask about any plans to step down from power and allow democratic elections to take place in Zimbabwe.
