Planning a Braai this weekend? Don’t worry, we’ve got you with all you need to know to make a success of your braai party.
As you might know, hosting a braai can be expensive. Especially when you have some cheapskate guests, just to put it out there.
The key to making your braai memorable is to consider who you would like to invite, what type of braai you can afford, and how you can make sure all your guests are having fun, including you.
To make sure that you’re comfortable, you need to decide on who will be responsible for certain things, that’s if you would like to share the responsibility between your friends and family. If you’re sharing the responsibility, make sure to have an outline of how you want things to go.
It is important that you have all your braai tools in order to let your guests know what you’re doing. I’m sure you cannot imagine standing clueless in front of the coals or whichever way you choose to go about your braai.
Make your braai inclusive
The next thing you know is the kids are running around and things are chaotic. Not quite the lax get together you’ve been planning to have right? So, let’s make sure you have your downtime with friends and family. Perhaps include your neighbor too as it would be a show if your smoke goes onto their washing!
While spending time with your family and friends can be a good time, if things proceed in an unorderly fashion you might find things going terribly wrong, so to avoid this, make sure everyone has their space to sit and enjoy their time. This of course includes the kids, so make provision for crayons and so forth.
Now, as you might have concluded already, the key to your successful event is to be all-inclusive. In this way, everyone will have a great time and might like to come back again!
